Grayson Alexander is one of the most influential men in New York. When he runs head on into Gabriella, he doesn’t quite know how that one event will change his world.
Gabriella knows that being involved with a human is strictly forbidden, even though she’s part human herself, and begins to fear for Grayson’s safety especially when the head of her nest, Anton, makes a play for her affections.
~Review by Venture~
Gabriella Carmichael has made her life straddling two worlds. She is half-human/ half-vampire and lives in the nest with a vampire mother. She is lucky to be able to walk outside in daylight and even if she is only half-vampire she isn’t as weak as her counterparts. She is happy with her life but nothing exciting happens until she runs into Grayson.
Grayson Alexander is one of the most influential men in New York when he runs into Gabriella he doesn’t understand how much his life is going to change. They have a connection from the moment they met. Even though being with him is forbidden she can’t help wanting to be with him. Anton the head of their nest has other plans for her and if he finds out about them….they have something to really fear.
This paranormal story is different than most. It captured my attention from the beginning and kept it until the book was finished. I got to know what happens next!! Gabriella, her best-friend, and Grayson are just three reasons this book just works. The story line could have come off sounding trite or redone but it was fresh and interesting. I can’t say enough about it! I give this a 5 book rating!
