After the love of her life Luke walks on out her to pursue his dream of being a Rockstar, Marlene finds herself alone and about to give birth. Fast forward four years and Marlene is working long hours, taking care of Nil, and making wedding cakes on the side. Her dream of going to Paris to open a pastry shop is just that…a dream. Luke is back in town and wants to see his daughter and try to make things right. Old feelings and fears resurface. More than her heart is on the line. Can Marlene ever forgive Luke for leaving?
I REALLY loved this book! It’s a great story with great characters. I laughed and cried. I recommend this book to anyone just wanting to read a great story. I give this 5 books
