“I’m not very good at sharing, especially when it comes to you Harper.”
A pain too hard to understand.
A struggle too deep to reach.
A love too complicated to work…but too intense to let go.
Harper Mae ran as far away as she could from her abusive past. She went to a different city and numbed her pain by using men, never sleeping with the same guy more than once.
Ryder worked at a coffee shop trying to blend in with the rest of the world, desperately trying to live a normal life. After leaving a relationship and losing his family, he vowed never to fall in love again.
Until one day they are unexpectedly drawn to each other unable to let go.
Harper and Ryder’s turbulent relationship, two people who are struggling to find themselves, realize the answer lies within each other.
Secrets, so deep, that both have, end up surfacing causing irrevocable pain.
Will their love be strong enough to survive or will their pain be the downfall to their relationship?
Will Harper open up enough to share her past with Ryder or will he be just another number on her list?

Harper is a college student that seems to have everything going for her. She is young, beautiful, and smart. However, Harper has one night stand after another with the purpose of using men to only satisfy an itch. Her best friend, Skye, and her are complete opposites in most ways except the fact their complete devotion to one another. Harper runs off to meet Skye at a coffee shop and meets Ryder. He is drop dead gorgeous and makes even Harper stutter over herself. It leaves her feeling unsettled and makes her nervous. Later that night she is out dancing when a hot guy in tattoos starts grinding on her but she leaves him when she sees a woman’s name tattooed on him. She might be considered a slut but she isn’t a home wrecker. Time passes and on a bad night Ryder comes to her rescue. Will Ryder just be another one night stand?
I got this book and I thought it was going to be one of the erotica books. Sharing Harper. That has menage written all over it. When the story begins and I watch the behavior of such a young girl, I’m slightly disgusted plus I didn’t like her very much. The story was well written and drew me in so I continued reading it. I am happy to report that yes indeed there is a lot of sex in this book; it is not a menage book at all. Harper is broken and her coping mechanism is having sex with random guys. Not maybe what you or I would choose. I have learned over the years that people use many coping mechanisms to try to move forward in their life. Even if it is self destructive. Even if what they are doing is ignoring the problem and destroying themselves in the process. Ryder is broken too. Yet not in the same way as Harper. Can two people who are broken and don’t know what the future holds come out of this whole and happy? I guess that can only be answered if you read the book. Sharing Harper gets 3.5 books.
