In Too Deep (Book 1 of Others of Edenton) by Brandy Rivers

in too deep

Synopsis:

Brody is a talented motorcycle mechanic and werewolf stuck in his painful past. On yet another depressing night, he is viciously attacked by vampires.

Fallon is a brilliant tattoo artist with inherent magic. Tired of men and their games, she climbs onto her Harley and leaves her old life behind.

Running for his life, Brody crashes into Fallon and sparks fly. She ends up stranded in the Northwest with her ride out of commission.

With no ride and nowhere to go, Fallon allows her best friend to convince her to stay in Brody’s apartment. He’s determined to claim her heart and keep her safe from the shadows in her past. Fallon prides herself on her independence and would rather keep him safe, even from herself.

With the impending danger from the group of vampires and dark mages, they will have to work together. The closer they get, the harder it is for her to fight her attraction.

Be prepared for monsters, magic and lots of ink.

Book Review:  (Reviewed by Venture Cecena for I Feel the Need, the Need to Read)

Fallon has spent years getting into one bit of trouble or another.  Always finding the wrong guy and the wrong friends.  There is only truly a few people in this world she can really trust.  Trusting doesn’t come easy. Running away from a problem in her life literally crashes into more trouble.  Brody running for his life crashes into Fallon and she saves his life.  In Edenton, she finds a place she can call home.  Because most people in Edenton aren’t like everyone else.  It will take everyone with their special gifts to win against evil that wants to destroy everyone there especially Fallon.
I enjoyed this story not only because it had a variety of different “Others” in it but I found a part of myself in Fallon.  When you spend decades with no one to love and a few people you can trust, you learn to be self sufficient.  Brody embodies all of the American boy traits everyone loves.  He also has had a rough time of it.  People learn to count on each other and the ones you thought you couldn’t trust just might be the ones that save your life.  If you like a great Paranormal Romance read this book.  If you like a Paranormal action packed book with a love story then read this book.  I have to say this is one of the best Romance books I have read in a long time.  It has it all.  Even Angela who doesn’t read romances will enjoy this quick read. 🙂Buy the book on AmazonAuthor Links:Facebook
